Tiger Leaping Gorge in Shangri-la is closed

I’m not trying to scare someone but it’s real. Or i can say that i was scared by this news when i saw the notice  fax this afternoon.

This notice is published in 26th Nov, 2009.  And our local agency got it this afternoon, 30th Nov. It said that since 1st Dec.2009-31st March.2010. The Tiger Leaping Gorge in Shangri-la should be closed.

It’ s a big shock to me. Yes, our winter group is begin in 4th Dec.2009, and they told me that the Tiger Leaping Gorge will closed tomorrow. It’s ridiculous and unbelievable. There is even no time for us to react anything.

However, i finally get comfort that my team is just take part in the Lijiang Section and not in Shangri-la section. So it can run smoothly and follow my plan.

Thanks God for your mercy!

He is a murderer who killed 6 Shanghai police officers in police station. He is a hero who shined glory at last time of his short life.

Today is Thanks Giving Day in western world, I don’t know how many Chinese would remenber him, I know there should be some and I’am one of them.

I don’t belive violence could make a better world, but I hold strong belief that violence is a useful tool forces tyrants choose gentle reformers’ oppion. Yang Jia is the one makes tyrants know we Chinese also can fight back when we being humiliated, if there’s no justice we also can find our own justice.

Jiuzhaigou Trip

Last weekend, I went to Jiuzhaigou for a business trip, but it’s more a vacation than a business trip to me. As a matter of fact, we went there for an experiment to testify a theory that is going to apply to our next project. I set things up on the first day, then we got a chance to go to Jiuzhaigou, one of the most famous travelling spot in China, for sightseeing.

The Hotel that we stayed. Intercontinental Hotel pricing 3,000 a night. lol

Inside of our room, I lived with my supervisor. I espcially like the glass facade and the fireplace in the living-room-like space. It looks cozy.

Jiuzhaigou gains its reputation for its stunning view like this picture. I almost feel like myself a photographer. hehe

Water there is so transperant that you can see the green plants deep in the lake, which makes that lake so colorful.

One of its most famoust spot, Pearl Waterfall.  Do you still remember the shot in “Journey to the West”when Monk Tang and his apprentices walk through the waterfall?

We caught flight back to Chengdu that night. It took us almost an hour car drive from hotel to the airport. Because that is a rural place where there is no artificial lights, I saw so many stars shining upon the sky when i was in the car to airport. I’ve never seen so many stars in my life. What a breathtaking view!

What’s the fashion in game industry right now? Yes, free things for indie gamers.

Few days ago, I heared the Unity 2.6 is totally free for personal and commercial use (the pro version still need some charge) . It’s really good news for pool developers, like me. Oh, wait, good things come in pairs. Epic game announced the free Unreal Development Kit.

In my opinion, I will choose UDK, I can find tons of books tutorial and a big community about it. Beside above, the UDK skill is more helpful for finding a job.

Terrible things are coming

here not very well! Yes, these days, i’m facing the problem of the high price quote from the Lijiang local agency. Something almost drive me crazy~ especially in my period.

Next week, i will go to Phuket in Thailand. And i don’t feel very excited about it. Bow will go to Xi’an and a terribel guy is coming. I can’t explain how terrible he is, because i have a bad feeling before he comes to my house.

I Suppose to write an article about our recent recce in Lijiang Yunnan about the Tiger Leaping Gorge. However, the passion of writing ending with the high quote and unsure things there. The terrible leader and also the terrible leader’s girl friend. I was wondering that the just came for honey moon but not do the recce for the winter team. Well, let’s get back to the winter tean.

They told me that one team prefer camping while the other team prefer hostel. There are limited hostel in the Tiger Leaping gorge in each station and the dame host told the leader whenever the team comes, they will give the price 25RMB/PP for one bed. He didn’t mention that when the high season is coming, there is no swear anymore.

I hope i can handle this thing well this year, and i won’t want to suffer a lot because of the other people’s fault.
